Jevaughn & Hannah - Proposal Photography at New Buffalo Beach

I got to capture this EPIC proposal at New Buffalo Beach last summer!

But let's rewind to the beginning...

Jevaughn hired a company to come and set up these light up marquee letters at the top of the hill at the beach... they had to have a generator and everything. It was amazing!

Jevaughn & Hannah arrived... he had told her that a friend from work was going to do some couples photos for them to hang in their new home together, so she was dressed and ready to go! I had corresponded with them as "the friend from work" so she had no idea she was walking into her own proposal when she got to to the beach...

Until she saw the letters saying Marry Me!

The sky, sunset, and clouds were PERFECT this evening. We couldn't have asked for a better night!

P.S. She said YES

Stunning ring, stunning couple.

Now it was time to walk around the beach and visit all of my favorite spots for more photos!

The beach grass is always a favorite spot for me!

Then it was time to run down to the water.... literally ;)

I love having people run through the seagulls and make them fly away!

This sky! The wind in her hair and dress! It was magical!

Jevaughn had inscription placed on the inside of her ring and she had no idea it was there. He decided to show her and look at the look on her face. AWE <3

Of course we had to pit stop at the big, iconic rock breakwall there at New Buffalo Beach.

My favorite thing during a sunset session is to pit stop in the beach grass at the end of the session before heading back to our cars. The lighthouse is lit, the sun is giving a beautiful filtered light, and the sky is STUNNING.

A big CONGRATS again to the happy couple!
