Julia’s High School Senior Portrait session from last April was a dream!

Julia was a senior at Lemont High School in Lemont, Illinois with dreams of attending the University of Alabama this past year. Well, she is now living out those dreams and completing her Freshman year there - Roll Tide! I love watching seniors that I have photographed graduate and thrive, doing what they've dreamed of during their high school career!

I offer tips and styling services to my high school seniors if they need it, but Julia and her mom, Kari didn't need any help in that department so I let them run with it! They are both so stylish and always up with the trends, so when they showed up with all of these adorable outfits for Julia to wear I wasn't surprised at how awesome they were and I LOVED every single thing they brought!

We chose to do her photo session at the gorgeous Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve in Lemont, IL. This location is a personal favorite - tons of variety and so many beautiful locations all within walking distance. I've taken many families, couples, and seniors to this location and it never disappoints, no matter what season it is!

I will say, I do love Waterfall Glen in the spring though! Spring is a great time to shoot in general, lots of fresh new grass, pretty flowers and new growth in the trees, and REDBUDS! I absolutely love those little fuchsia specks of color and incorporating them in my photos in the spring is my favorite!

I’m so excited that April is only 2 months away! I can’t wait for spring photos and to feature those redbuds in my photos again! If you are a senior graduating this year and you haven't had your senior photos taken yet, now is the time to reach out and get on my schedule for this spring!
