I talked this sweet fam into doing a sunrise photo session at the beach and let me tell ya, we had the most beautiful sunrise!
It was Mom & Dad with their 8 grown children, 2 spouses, and 2 grandchildren. I love photographing large extended families!
We started off by meeting at their Michigan City Airbnb that was just steps to the beach. We started walking through the beach grass down to the lake and found a family of deer. It was the most peaceful and beautiful sight to see.
Once we got over the beach grass dune, we turned around and saw this beautiful sky so I knew we needed to stop for a photo in this direction before heading down to the water.Ā
I hope this photo of grandma and grandpa with their grandkids is cherished for years to come and brings back memories of walking down the beach together š„°
We then did someĀ individual family photos and started with the youngest little (that's my go-to plan incase of any pending meltdowns... lol) and had fun tossing her in the air, exploring, and loving on her.
Next up was this cool dude with his parents. He was all smiles and once we put him down he was on the GO and wanted to throw rocks in the water. I loveĀ photographing littles being themselves, showing off their personality, and exploring, so we got some sweet photos of himĀ doing just that!
Next up it was time for more photos of the OG family, just the girls and just the boys. Such a beautiful group!
Of course Mom & Dad had to get a little lovey dovey together for a few photos š¤
Mom & Dad requested photos with each "kiddo"
Did you know that I deliver the entire gallery in both color and black and white?Ā
Summer will be here before we know it! I can't wait to photograph families on the beach in beautiful Michigan City, New Buffalo, Union Pier, Lakeside, and more!
If you're planning a vacation to Southwest Michigan orĀ Northern Indiana, I'd love to hear from you! No family is too big or too small, I love them all!
